It's got sections on what I'm currently watching, completed watching, my ratings of the anime shows and stuff like that. You can arrange them in rating order, alphabetical order.. just play around with it. lol! So if you're ever feeling bored and have some spare time, go have a look on the list and pick one title up to watch, of cuz the higher the ratings the more recommended it is. Then again, my taste would be different from yours since I prefer more sadistic and emo shows, therefore a higher rating for those type of shows, except for Code Geass and some others since those are really given awards of best tv anime series. (and that I also happen to like them too) :X
Q4 of 2008 is a nice season to have as we see quite a number of interesting new animes on air from Japan.. Vampire Knight Guilty, Rosario + Vampire capu2, Skip Beat, Toradora, Jigoku Shoujo season 3... But the most hyped up of all, is of cuz, Gundam 00 Season 2! w00tz! xD
This time, they did the right thing. They went straight into the action and had a well-paced flow of the story, as opposed to their earlier season 1. And boy did they deliver! It was beyond expectations and since the first episode was aired, we all know it's gonna stay good & intense all the way till the end and it's final conclusion. So far, 3 episodes have already aired and the 4th epi being airred today(gonna watch it as soon as the subtitles are ready), it's sooo good that it's even better than Gundam Seed, probably the next thing to end the reign of Code Geass too.
The opening & ending themes for season 2 were a blast. They kept the rock genre and it really suit it perfectly. Now I think I got a character I like in Gundam 00, the grown-up main character, Setsuna! No more emo "Ore wa Gundam" freak. He's now a calm, serious and ready to take on the world, deceived by the evil A-Laws, using his twin drive Gundam 00 and finish what he started.
So the story was left off from the final battle of season 1 between the Celestial Beings(good guys) and United Nations forces(manipulated by some evil dude) where both sides suffered heavy casualties. Celestial Beings was being forced into hiding to recover while the UN forces went under the new name of A-Laws being controlled by one evil dude. 4 years later, Celestial Beings finally made a come back, and the story continues from there!
Apart from the story, I also love how Sunrise studios take pride in doing their animations, it's really top-notch and in beautifully rendered high-definition graphics. :D
I wonder how they would continue the story of Gundam 00 though, 3 episodes and it's already so intense.. hope they can keep the intensity up till the end. There's like.. 22 more episodes? lol. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. Celestial Beings huat ah! A-Laws FTL!
