Code Geass R2 Final Episode

zfomfgfomgomfwtfbbq!

The ending so sad la! Si bei dramatic! T-T

lol Code Geass is officially my favourite anime! I'll buy the DVDs if they are sold in Singapore. lol!

So all is well, ends well. Well, not really, since after watching the final episode, it kinda lives on. lol. There was a magic to the ending and well... it's now a hot topic in many forums worldwide! The debate on the main character, the Byronic protagonist, the genius mastermind of the Zero Requiem... and yes, it's none other than Lelouch!

Spoilers below. Don't read and skip this part if you intend to watch Code Geass. lol

So.. in the final episode, Lelouch won the final battle against the world, and dominates/rules/terrorizes the world with an iron fist, making the whole world hate him, but there's nothing anyone could do, he's the emperor of the world, the military is totally under his command. After 2 months, he carries out the final phase of his plan, The Zero Requiem. There was an execution parade of the captured Black Knight leaders on the streets of Japan, it was being broadcasted live, and the whole world was watching....

Here's the catch. It wasn't the execution of the rebels, but Lelouch. :O
Yes, in order of the Zero Requiem plan to be complete, Lelouch must die. So yea, he did die, a dramatic death too. lol. And so the world's demon king was dead, and everyone was given freedom, and a better tomorrow. Everyone rejoiced, and Lelouch's name is forever tainted and hated by the world. Only a few people knew the truth and original reason for his death & demise, namely Kallen, Suzaku, Orange-kun, C.C, and Nunally.

That was his wish, and his plan. For everyone to have a "tomorrow", he made the whole world direct their hate towards one person. He bared all the hatred and sins, and died for the world. Just simply "Wow!"

Now here's another catch. After the show ended, everyone was like.. HEY, maybe he's still alive! There were several contradictions within the final episode and now there's a heated discussion in forums worldwide on whether Lelouch is still alive or really dead. Okay yea, we did see the scene where Lelouch apparently "died", but hey, many of the characters that were supposed to be dead, survived somehow. And nobody knows for sure if Lelouch really is dead.

So this is the magic of the show. There were many theories on how Lelouch might be still alive. Oh well, it's for the audience's imagination on whether Lelouch lives or not. I believe he still lives though and is travelling the world with C.C. Two lovely immortals. :)

Oh well, I do hope there's an OVA for Code Geass though.

As for Lelouch, he will always remain in our memories for his great deeds & sacrifice, for those who know the truth and reasons behind his plan, or rather, his wish. Love always.

Gundam 00

Today I went out for a walk, from Admiralty to my house. It was wonderful, the trees were so green, the breeze was just right. So peaceful. Meh, I have to do this more often. Lol!

So while waiting for Code Geass final episodes, I watched Gundam 00, the latest of the Gundam series. Here's what I thought of it.

Was a bit disappointed because it's not a prequel/sequel to my all-time favourite Gundam series; Gundam Seed/SD. They always do that. All the Gundam series are not linked at all, it's a totally different story in a totally different era/environment. Lol. So what's Gundam 00 about? In the year 2300~, we ran out of natural resources, so what do we use? Solar energy.

Okay, that's not the point. The starting of the story led to more disappointments. It's like Code Geass, "oh we are this so-and-so organization, and we will eradicate WAR!". Yea, great, like that never gets old. I'm actually fine with that but in Gundam 00, it lacked the "substance" that Code Geass has. And the technology they had in Gundam 00 was bullshiet compared to Gundam Seed.

It wasn't deep enough and to be honest, it was dull and boring. There wasn't any male character which I could "connect" with or like either(the guys in Gundam 00 are weird, lol), unlike in Gundam Seed or Code Geass where I simply adore Kira Yamato and Lelouch. The only thing that kept me watching was the awesome animation that SUNRISE studios has done and that Gundam 00 is the first ever Gundam series to ever support the HD function. Okay, and maybe that hawt goddess-grade girl in her cheongsam I saw during the first episode. I wanted to know what will happen to her. LOL!

So yea, I struggled and pulled myself to watch through Gundam 00 for the first 10 episodes or so, THEN, I don't know how they pulled it off, but the story plot for Gundam 00 took a huge turn and it actually began to become interesting enough for me to go back for more. The story gets deeper, and there was a TWIST, and there were more secrets revealed, plus more action. Woo, it can't get better than this.

Near the end of the series, it was quite sad(not going into details, so no spoilers). Some teary moments were during episode 19, 24 and 25. Waaaa, it was like so sweet but very saddening. Lol. Okay, towards the end it was a sadist show, quite a number of deaths. Oh and I like sadist shows. LOL! especially those where there are, "I will change the world with this power/special ability of mine! If I can't then I'll destroy this world together with me! Bwahahaha!" kinda thing. *sadistic laugh* And the story plot twisted again at the end.. guess what? There's gonna be a season 2! I'll be looking forward to this one. This season only revealed the meaning of "Gundam" behind the title Gundam 00, there was a sneak preview at the end of the final episode about "00", so we'll learn more about that in the 2nd season. :)

I was kind of surprised that they changed the usual Gundam themes, the opening and ending themes are usually "techno" kinda songs, but in Gundam 00, it was all ROCK songs. All of them were awesome, first opening theme was from L'Arc~en~Ciel, the ending themes were very nice too. But I liked the 2nd opening the most, the song and animation totally matched. The lyrics rocks too.

Overall, it was a quite a good show despite the bad start.
Here's the 2nd opening theme of Gundam 00, "Ash like Snow" by The Brilliant Green

Emperor Lelouch!

Zomg! Code Geass is reaching is final conclusion soon! A bit sad that season 2 is most probably the last season of Code Geass. T-T I watched the latest episode 4 times already! Haha. Must re-watch to fully grasp the meaning. Season 1 link.

So what's happening now? Well, Lelouch and Suzaku decided to work together once more to create an ideal world that the both of them wanted from the very start after learning the truth (Episode 21 of season 2 revealed most of the hidden facts/plots from the very start and was concluded). Well, something big happened of cuz. *cough* *points at title* *cough* All hail Lelouch!! All hail Lelouch!! xP

Lol. You know what I think? Lelouch is kinda similar to Jesus, in a sense where he shoulders all the burdens and sins of the world & people, even if he has to be the enemy of the entire world, in order to make the world a better place. But yes, only in that aspect. However, I won't deny the fact that he's a sadist, with good intentions. :P

Here's some quotes from R2 episode 22 :
Lelouch said to Suzaku, "This is only the beginning, still. I will create more rivers of blood, enough to obscure even the name of the massacre princess and erase it from people's memories. We have lost.. lost far too many things. But even so, to embrace for tomorrow, we need to conquer the world first."

There was a stir in my heart when he said that. The voice actor of Lelouch was really superb! Well, he really is, since I saw somewhere that he won the best voice actor award in 2007 or something for his role as Lelouch. Yes, watch the Japanese dub with English subtitles. Don't watch the English dub, it's total crap, the English voice actor fails.

"Farewell.. Lelouch" *walks away* "Farewell.. Kallen", whispered Lelouch.

And the quote above is when Lelouch and Kallen were alone and she confesses her love to him, or so it seemed. But Lelouch never said a word, so Kallen just said goodbye and left. After she left, he whispered farewell. Like WTF MAN, if I were Lelouch, I'll grab her hand, pull her back and hug her. But.. meh.. I understand, he didn't want to involve her, especially after the incident where another girl who loved him got murdered. HE FACES & FIGHTS THE WORLD ALONE MAN. *Salutes* Well.. okay, not really alone but.. without love I guess. xD

*In an important conference meeting of the world's leaders*
Lelouch asked, "Chairwoman Kaguya, may I pose one question to you? What determines the right to govern the world?"
"Pride and honor", replied the chairwoman.
"Very well answered, you are a gifted person after all. However, I have a different answer."
"May we hear it?", asked the puzzled chairwoman.
"The preparedness to destroy. To destroy the world and ourselves" *Lelouch points up with a smirk*

And BOOM, you know what happens. ;) I smell sarcasm & mockery when Lelouch replied, "you are a gifted person" Rofl! Meh.. Lelouch is a very intelligent and proud character, a Byronic protagonist no doubt. That's what I like about him. He gets nominated as my favorite anime character of the year! :P

At the end of episode 22, it was revealed that someone very close to Lelouch who was thought to be dead is actually still alive! o.o

Meh.. I can't wait for episode 23 to be aired next week in Japan! Zomg! Sep 14th! ._.
3 more episodes, wonder how it'll all end. Will he be together with C.C or Kallen? Or will he be alone in the end? Rofl! Will he dominate the whole world? Or will he die in the end?.. *hopes there's season 3. please dont let the story end. :x*

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion!

Hello! :P So long no update cuz I've been busy keeping myself immersed in this anime "Code Geass"! This.. I tell you.. is the BEST ANIME I've ever watched so far! Beats da crap outta Claymore, Gundam, Bleach, Elfen Lied, Death Note, blah blah, etc etc and so on. Well, at least that's what I thought IMHO.

Here's link to watch it online stream: http://www.animecrazy.net/category/completed-anime-shows/code-geass/

This anime has a very.. wah, very hard to explain, you must watch to understand! xD

All I can say is that it's a very complicated show. While watching it, you have this mental battle to pause the show to think about everything or continue watching it because of the suspense! The story, plot, twists and everything is so intriguing! Okay, to put it simple, it's basically something like Death Note + Gundam Seed. Simply awesome. You can hardly predict what's going to happen next. The suspense is killing me. No words can describe how much I'm enjoying the show right now.

Ah yes, the art! That's another plus. The way it's animated is also very very beautiful. It's an eyecandy to look at. Meh.. I love the main character, Lelouch, he's so.. sadist like me! Bwahahaha! :x

Currently, I've watched till halfway of Code Geass season 2 (ending of season 1 was epic! o.o). There's this girl who loves Lelouch so much, even though he's the "bad guy". Apparently her memories got altered twice and a lot a lot of things happen during the series which makes it very hard for her to accept Lelouch because of..(no spoilers intended), but in the end when she regained all of her memories, she still fell in love with him again and.. (meh, that's like so effing sweet la) in the end she *ahem*.. got murdered by this bastard named R***! Then then...!

Okay, Ima stop my rants here. =.=
GRRR!! How can this happen man?! Sadded. Oh well, you'll have to watch it to understand what I meant. I think MX will understand since he already watched it. Haha! xD

Anyhow, it's a MUST-WATCH! It's one psychological film you can't miss!

Bummer.. I couldn't find any nice trailers of Code Geass on youtube. But meh, found this little tribute(or rather, AMV) of the girl and Lelouch. Sobx. T-T
